Work-Life Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Today’s demanding work environment requires employees to be productive, creative, confident and focused. When employees have personal problems, family or relationship concerns, drug or alcohol abuse, and legal, financial or emotional difficulties, job performance suffers. Employees with unresolved problems cost companies money — in the form of absenteeism, tardiness, low morale, workers compensation claims and costly lawsuits.

DOR can enhance the productivity of your employees — through employee and family counseling, referrals, and coaching of managers and supervisors to identify and resolve performance problems.

  • Confidential, Face-to-Face Counseling. To meet the needs of employees, we offer both telephonic and in-person counseling. While we find face-to-face assessments can be more accurate and in-person counseling more effective, we also offer a responsive team of counselors available by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week to address urgent issues and the needs of employees who may not be able to access face-to-face counseling.
  • Superior Management Coaching. DOR offers unlimited telephone and in-person coaching for managers on how to address specific employee performance problems. We've developed a highly successful protocol for giving supervisors and managers individualized, unlimited consultation and support.

  • Health and well-being — assessments on personal growth, improving communication and managing stress.
  • Resources to cope with workplace-related conflicts, challenges and changes.
